Thurrock Council opted to re-tender its adult drug and alcohol treatment service for 2017/18 and took the opportunity to redesign some of the treatment pathway. The fully integrated service was to offer person-centred harm-reduction and abstinence-based recovery pathways, with a strong emphasis on community treatment and friends & family engagement. Following a competitive tender process a 3 year contract (with a 2-year extension option) was awarded to Inclusion and the service was named Inclusion Visions Thurrock.
Inclusion also deliver the IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) service in Thurrock (commissioned by the CCG) and we are keen to further enhance the potential that can be unlocked for people who access both substance misuse and mental health services in our borough as we have done since the start of this contract

We are delighted to be working in partnership with Inclusion; their passion and drive shone throughout the tender process and we recognised a strong, shared organisational ethos.
